What is For Your Sunday Morning Drive?
For Your Sunday Morning Drive is a short podcast produced by Daniel Dalp in partnership with the Ministry League Network. Each episode is about 5-6 minutes in length and are intended to be listened to on the way to worship.
Episodes are designed to help recenter your mind on spiritual things during that time so you can offer your best mindset to God.
The inspiration for the podcast came during my hour long commute to the congregation where I preach. It was empty wasted time, often spent worrying about worldly things.
So I began playing spiritual podcasts and I would share them on social media with the caption “For your Sunday morning drive”.
Eventually I decided I might be able to help encourage others and in April of 2024 I released my first episode.
I hope you enjoy them!

About the host
I’m Daniel Dalp. I’m a bi-vocational preacher for the Hawesville Church of Christ, husband, and father of two here to help you ground yourself on your way to church each Sunday. Life gets hectic, but I hope this podcast gives you a chance to slow down, reflect, and reset before stepping into worship.
When I’m not preaching, working, or behind the microphone I enjoy “old man hobbies” (according to my wife) such as birdwatching, repairing cuckoo clocks, and playing Dungeons & Dragons.

Episodes drop at 11PM on Saturday nights. Sometimes RSS distribution is wonky and delays are common so this allows plenty of time for new episodes to find their way to your platform of choice and be waiting for you in the morning!

Naw dog! You can listen at any time! The purpose is of course to help focus your mind on Sunday mornings, but they make a great resource for any time you find yourself needing a little bite-sized bit of encouragement.

Absolutely! On this website you will find a submission form. If you want to provide a prompt for a future show send it my way! I can’t promise I’ll use it, but I’ll be sure to give it a look!
